Simply Orange
Retro Redesign
The Task. In the thick of quarantine, I found myself stir crazy staring aimlessly into the depths of the refrigerator. I emerged with a bottle of orange juice and an idea for a passion project.

I'd been admiring some chunky 70s fonts on TypeKit at that time, so I thought it might be cool to explore a retro 70s take on Simply Orange branding.
To me, it's important to enjoy what you do. When I look back at this work, I think about how much fun I had doing it.

Simply Orange
Packaging and Social Content
Packaging. For the packaging, I wanted to keep everything clean, crisp and friendly. I made the Simply Orange logo the main focal point and then peppered in the illustrations of the oranges and some spots of color to make everything extra groovy.

Social Content. I love the soft-wood, homey aesthetic for this brand, so I found some imagery that really accents that mood. I deconstructed some of the elements from the logo and used those along with the images to create some mood-setting posts for social media.
